Another great million-dollar idea just hit you like a ton of bricks. It can be the path to fame, fortune, and happiness. You can be the next Bill Gates. You’ve had these ideas before. In fact, a while ago, you had one of these ideas. Just last week, you saw that someone else went ahead and did the same thing, and made a fortune. Why wasn’t it you? Did you take any action to it happen? The greatest idea in the world, trapped in your mind, will get you nowhere. You are a lot better off with a mediocre idea upon which you take action, than the greatest business plan in the world, if you do nothing with it.

Too many people are stuck in neutral by what has been called ‘analysis paralysis.’ That is when you study your idea so long, that it just never happens. When you have an idea for a business, it is very tempting to make sure that everything will be perfect before you start. You can go from guru to guru, forum to forum, and eBook to eBook, looking for the details on how to best do each part of the plan. You can end up taking so long figuring out your plan, that by the time you are ready to implement, it is either too late, or you have found an even better plan to work on. I know this trap too well. I’ve fallen into it many times myself. The faster you can go from your first idea to implementation, the more likely you are to succeed. I’m not saying to blindly spend all your on the first idea that comes to you.

You do need to do some homework before you jump in all the way. But, you can put together a quickie action plan, and set something up. Even a miserable web site, with no bells and whistles, and a horrible rate of turning visitors into customers, is infinitely better than no web site at all! As with any business, you will end up improving and tweaking it as you go. You can’t do any of that without a starting point.

Don’t worry about making a mistake. You will learn a lot more from your mistakes than from not doing anything. And, you will make mistakes. In fact, most of the decisions you make will probably be wrong. You simply need to realize when you make a mistake, and correct it.

Have you ever learned how to ride a bike? When you start out, you head for the end of the street. You turn the wheel from side to side in the wrong direction while trying to catch your balance. You fall down. A lot. Then, somehow, you reach the end of the street. As you keep doing it, you get better and better. Pretty soon, you are riding straight and fast, and you have no problem getting to where you want to be. Running a business is just like riding that bike. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. Along the way to your goal, you will make small mistakes. You just have to be sure that when you fall, you get back up and keep going, you correct your course, and you don’t stop until you reach your destination. As long as you never fall off the path of treating people fairly, make sure you do everything possible to keep your word, and know where you are going, you will succeed.

Problem: You want to start an Internet business but you need some money to get started. What do you do?

Solution: Pull the money out of thin air and start your business! Does that idea sound ridiculous to you? If it does then you are not aware of what hundreds of Internet Marketing men and women have already done.

I also would think that you have some time to work on your Internet business and you are willing to use some of that time to work on your business to make it a success. Hopefully you have about $100.00 to get started.

If you don’t have it, be determined to get it as soon as possible. I’m sure you can think of a way. Work a temp job for a few days, work overtime on your regular job, borrow it or be brave and simply jump to the section of this tutorial series “how to get customers” and simply ask business friends and other businesses with whom you do business for $150.00 to be the FIRST one to be listed on your new directory and to have there very own website hosted by your new directory service.

Don’t think this can’t be done! That is exactly how I got started. My first customer who paid me that first $150.00 is still my good customer and friend after 5 years. He faithfully renews his ad with me every year. I have not spent more than one hour total over the last four years on his site (of course if he needed me too I would have spent much more time on it). $150.00 X 4 years = $600.00 for less than 6 hours work. That is, around 5 hours initially and about 1 more hour spent on it for the last 4 years. This is certainly not a typical situation, however, it’s not the only example like it.

Yes, your current resources + time + action will allow you to reach your goal of earning money from thin air (cyberspace).
